The Deliver sAfe and Social Housing (DASH) project is a four-year initiative, which began in January 2023 and will end in December 2026, funded by the European Union's Horizon research and innovation program, under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Staff Exchange.

The aim of the DASH project is to develop new ideas to promote more sustainable and safer housing, and how to transform these ideas into realistic housing products, processes and/or services, using innovative methodological tools.

Through collaborative research, DASH facilitates the exchange of knowledge between different disciplines, sectors and countries. Portugal, Denmark, Germany and Serbia are partners in this project, which brings together academic institutions, local authorities, housing associations and civil society organizations.

In this first cycle of DASH, Câmara Municipal de Loures has a team of technicians who, throughout this year, have been carrying out collaborative research, with the aim of exploring new processes and producing innovative ideas to promote more sustainable and safer housing in Loures. This mission will continue over the next two years.
